Lake Simcoe Baseball Academy is a Development Program located in Dufferin/Simcoe County. We will have a 16u team in Simcoe County, and a 13u and 11u team in Sault Ste Marie, ON. The Travel Teams will pitch off a mound and compete in 30+ games, two practices a week and 3-5 tournaments. These teams play until September with long weekends off and certain weekends off for family time and recovery.
Our Player fee is $1,599/Player for all age groups. This price can be FREE with sponsorship(s). Parents can find one or multiple sponsors for their player to equal the team fee.

Our teams play both Fall and Summer seasons, offering a comprehensive program that includes everything a traditional Travel team provides- But with professional knowledge, longer/ traditional Baseball season, playing doubleheaders with batting practice before games, and family and recovery time, April- October. With dedicated long weekends off for family time. Lake Simcoe Baseball is Affordable , High-Quality Development with Smart coaches who love the game. Tryouts are $30 and gets your player two or more tryouts/game.
Teams will play 30+ Games from April- October.
Our 10-month program is $1,599 for our 2026 Fall/2027 season. The player fee covers all team expenses. Parents pay for travel and hotels. Our goal is to keep player fees low while providing professional baseball experiences, professional knowledge, and long lasting friendships.
PAYMENT:
A $299 commitment fee is subtracted from the $1,599 player fee. With our sponsorship program, we make Baseball potentially free for all parents and players.
After commitment fee, there will be three more payment instalments.
COACHING:
Our coaching staff brings high-level experience and strong professional baseball knowledge to help players develop their skills, game awareness, and overall understanding of the sport. We focus on fundamentals, rules of play and respect for the game and umpires and ensuring that players receive top-tier instruction in a positive, structured environment.

TRAINING AND COMPETITION
We compete in tournaments across North America, including MI, NY, QC, and ON.
We host an annual tournament in Simcoe County, providing players with valuable competitive experience.

Coming August 2026 Northern Ontario Black Bears. will play in Sault Ste Marie, ON and play American and Canadian Travel teams around the area and Ontario. This team will enter three- five Tournaments and train for ten months of the year.

Our Program

What We’ve Been Up To
Lake Simcoe Baseball Academy is deeply saddened of the passing of Robert” Sam” Sproule. Sam was a mentor and friend to all. Former UIC, the best UIC an organization can ask for. He knew the game in and out. He knew rules that people didn’t even know existed. Sam knew how to make you laugh and we will miss all the times shared over wings, baseball and football. Shaping young umpires was one of his passions and he always had his door unlocked to walk in and have a conversation with him. We will never forget you. We miss you Sammy, and we will keep your legacy living as long as us. Love you, friend.
